Modifed Strongarm.

Hey Guys, BBV here and I decided to do some more mods to my Strongarm today.

CPVC BARRELS!

I've done other mods to this Strongarm such as

  • AR Removal
  • Spring Upgrade ( Half a BBB Spring)
  • Dead Space removal
  • Dart Peg Removal
  • Lock Removal
  • Air Release hole glued over.
The Strongarm is a great blaster, go pick one up!

Anyway the CPVC makes loading much more easier and I am pretty proud of this mod!

Pic Spam time!

I hope you guys like this!

  1. Sweet Dude!!!
Now here's my couple of questions.
Is the barrel kind of hard to get in like how the mavericks were after the drop barrel mod?

Also, did the regular CPVC just slide in and you glued it or do you have to sake a dremel or something to make it fit?

    Thanks!
Keep up the good work ;)

    1. I don't know what you mean by the first question, but the action of putting the turret back in is the same as stock.
I had to bore out the pre-existing holes to 5/8" Diameter to slide them in, I used a 14mm Spade and a 5/8" Spade bits.
Thanks for the compliment! I will try to keep the work up.

  2. Beautiful job, BBV! And nice use of a decommissioned BBB spring, too! Could you update us down the road about its performance in a skirmish and how well it endures? Thanks for sharing. Again, great job!

  3. So the stock StrongArm plunger to turret seal will be fine if you cut out the barrel posts? Nice.

    1. Its fine if you cut out the barrel post, Its fine if you rebarrel it with CPVC. Although I am personally going to do some seal work.

  4. Is it harder to load darts if you take the pegs out?

  5. Would it be possible to use the internals of a strongarm in a elite specter? They seem similar enough but would it work?
